Thai massage Stretches
Integrative Thai Massage

Thai massage uses ancient Thai massage techniques to leave you feeling free and relaxed. Mixed modalities will be used in our sessions, including Thai traditional massage, Thai Trigger Point, Tok Sen, Guasa, Amatarot, and Karen Hill Deep Tissue based on the assessment of your physical condition. The result of a full-body Thai bodywork is often a powerful mind/body healing experience, bringing both the recipient and the practitioner to heightened states of physical and spiritual well-being.

The practitioner moves the receiver through various positions.  Every movement is designed to support the receiver as well as the practitioner.  Each session is given to allow the practitioner to understand the receiver’s body and give her/him a chance to focus and meditate.  At the end of a session, the receiver will feel relaxed and energized.

Integrative Therapeutic Massage

If you have chronic pain, unresolved pain, post-injury/surgery recovery pain, and any sport related pain and discomfort such as low back pain, shoulder issues, carpal tunnel, hip and knee, joint issues, this would be a right therapy for you.  We plan our treatment session based on postural deviations, range of motion, and strength tests to identify strain patterns in the body.  Your body goes through various activities everyday and is ever evolving.  Your tight muscles need to be lengthened, your weak muscles need to be strengthened.  Our goal for each session is to offer you the massage you need to bring balance to the muscles and reduce stress.  Some techniques may require client’s active participation and that you might be ask to stay awake in order for the treatment to be effective.  A combination of clinical manual therapies such as Orthopedic massage, Neural Reset Therapy, Myofascial Release and any other complementary modalities (e.g. Myofascial Cupping heat, Deep Tissue, Swedish, stretching) based on assessment and client’s intake. Dress code: we always work with your level of comfort. If necessary, we may ask you to wear a camisole, or sport bra (for women) and a pair of shorts.

Both therapists are certified in Orthopedic massage and continue to train under James Waslaski, a world leader and pioneer in manual therapy.

abdomen-massage
Chi Abdominal Detox Massage (AKA Chi Nei Tsang)

Coming originally from old Taoist Monastic tradition, Chi Nei Tsang practice manually induces the body healing from the abdomen. The Taoist observed that we often develop energy blockages in our organs that result in knots and tangles in our abdomens. These obstructions, caused by overwork, stress, accidents, surgery, drugs, toxins, poor food and bad posture, occur at the center of the body and constrict the flow of Chi (energy), our life-force, resulting in negative emotions: fear, anger, anxiety, depression, and worry.  This treatment helps strengthen and detoxify the body, by manually stimulating all the metabolic functions.  It improves the digestive system, absorption of nutrients, elimination of toxins, breathing, digestive and lymphatic systems, blood circulation and hormonal balance.  There are a few different styles of abdominal massage practices.  We learned from Master Ohm Rinraya who follows the style of A.Bunjong Pun (Khun Ni.), PI Jem Thanachon and Joe Khumlee.

EUN17
Ashiatsu Barefoot Massage

“Ashi” means foot and “atsu” means pressure.  For this massage, a special Shea butter is applied to the body followed by soft, clean bare feet to deliver a relaxing yet DEEP massage.  Utilizing SLOW broad compressive movements induces deep relaxation quickly and increases blood/lymph circulation quickly which detoxifies the body at a much faster rate.  The massage therapist uses an overhead bar system for balance and control to deliver targeted pressure and gliding strokes. This is the most luxurious and deepest massage available out there.  The biggest benefit of this modality is that after a few treatments it will help improve the client’s posture and movement while relieving pain, improving bodily functions and creating a state of well-being.   If you feel like you never can get enough pressure, this would be the one you should try.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)

MLD  is a gentle form of massage used to relieve painful swelling in your arms and legs caused by lymphedema after surgery or as you age. Lymphedema happens when your tissues retain fluid left behind after your cardiovascular system sends blood to your tissues and organs. When something disrupts your lymphatic system’s process, lymph collects in your arms and legs, making them swell.  We will use lymphatic drainage massage techniques to move lymph from your tissues to your lymph nodes, which eases the swelling in your tissues.  This is an appropriate technique for people experiencing short-term to long-term swelling such as rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, chronic venous insufficiency, lipedema and other conditions.  Consult with your doctor first if you have a complex health issue.
